Nurani Hindu High School
Nurani had its own High School which later owing to low turnout of students got erased from the educational map of the district. This was owing towards moving over to private institutions and convent schools as they didn't get English Medium syllabus. This Government run private managed school had a very poor turnout of students and had to be closed. Nurani Thondikulam UP School is a school located in between Nurani and Thondikulam villages. It was founded by K V Sivarama Krishna Iyer. The current headmistress is Ms Chandini Madam.
VEDADHARMA PATHASALA
A Vedic School was established by late Appathara Pattar of Nurani in the early thirties. Gradually this institution received Govt. approval for conducting exams. Yajurveda Taittiriya Sakha was mainly taught here and Sanskrit Studios up to Siromani level. Sastras and Vedas.
